Founder Note
Ayshwarya’s musical journey began at the age of five under the guidance of her grandmother, Mrs. Vadivu Subramaniam, a gifted Carnatic violinist and vocalist. She later trained under Mr. Vasudhevan, who deepened her understanding of the nuances and structure of Indian classical music, and Smt. Rajeshwari at Sri Vidhya Kshethralaya, where her foundation was further strengthened.
Since 2004, Ayshwarya has been performing in both Carnatic and light music concerts, led by her enduring passion for singing. Eager to explore beyond tradition, she taught herself to play the veena and guitar and gradually ventured into light and film music, becoming a self-taught vocalist in various genres. Over the years, she has performed in more than 350 stage shows and guided over 30 students in both classical and contemporary styles. Although she began her career in the IT sector, music remained her true calling. Sankeerthanaa became the platform that helped her transition into life as a full-time musician and teacher.
She takes pride in the exceptional team of artists assembled at Sankeerthanaa, each chosen for their remarkable talent and passion for teaching. The school’s personalized online sessions have proven to be highly effective and efficient for both vocal and instrumental lessons.
Ayshwarya strongly believes in the power of art forms to change thoughts, perspectives, and the lives of every individual. Through Sankeerthanaa, she aims to foster an art-centric society where music and other forms of art play a vital role in shaping a positive future.
